Hi, Hallo, Hola!

We are Paola and Stefan, a bi-national couple (Colombia – Germany) who have had the luck to travel around the globe both for personal and professional reasons, and love to explore many of its beautiful corners together with locals. Talking to our friends and family, we realised how lucky we have been to be able to discover so many awesome places and decided to start an independent blog to share some of our experiences and hopefully serve as inspiration for other people to plan trips to these awesome places. 

Some important facts about us and our blog:

• We strongly believe that travelling to a new place goes together with learning about the history of the territory and the realities of local communities, therefore beyond travel tips, we make an effort to point out to cultural and social aspects of our destinations, which are nevertheless subjective and based on our own experiences and don’t replace own research before travelling to a new destination.
• We are not sponsored by anyone and all the recommendations we make are entirely on a personal and subjective basis 
• We create the content and admin the webpage as a hobby on our free time, so we have irregular update cycles, and the new content is a surprise even to us. This also means this webpage is a work in progress, so apologies in advance for any bugs or problems you might encounter on it. 
• We started writing on English (which is not mother tongue for any of us) to reach a wider range of people, but you can write comments and contact us in any of the following languages: English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French.
